At The Monument Place, we offer a wide variety of memorials to choose from. There are five basic types of monuments: grassmarkers, bevel markers, slants, uprights and wing memorials.
The grassmarker is a type of memorial that is designed to sit flush with the ground. Some cemeteries, such as perpetual care cemeteries, have sections dedicated to this type of memorial.
Grassmarker measurements:
2 ft. L x 1 ft. W x 4 in. H (single)
4 ft. L x 1 ft. W x 4 in. H (double)
Bevel markers are raised slightly above ground and have a slight slope to the face of the memorial. The back part of the bevel stands 6" high, and the front part stands 4" high, giving the face a 2" slope. Larger slopes are available.

2 ft. L x 1 ft. W x 6 in. H (single)
4 ft. L x 1 ft. W x 6 in. H (double)
A slant marker is a type of upright memorial normally set on a ground level foundation. A granite base can be added to increase the height and enhance the appearance. A deluxe concrete pad foundation is recommended.
Slant measurements:
2 ft. L x 10 in. W x 1 ft. 4 in. H (single)
4 ft. L x 10 in. W x 1 ft. 4 in. H (double)
Upright memorials are usually the most traditional memorials that you will find in a cemetery. An upright memorial can be any size, shape, color and have any design on it. All upright memorials include a granite base. Smaller and larger sizes are available.

2 ft. L x 6 in. W x 1 ft. 8 in. H (single)
4 ft. L x 6 in. W x 1 ft. 8 in. H (double)
A wing monument is designed for two people. Each person has their own tablet wit their name, information and design. These tablets are joined together on a large, single base. A floral vase is usually placed in between the tablets.
